Winter Concert Info
Hi Parents!
Our 2021 Winter Concert is coming up, and I wanted to make you aware of the performance and call time schedule. The concert will be held at the Moorpark High School Performing Arts Center, across from the Vons parking lot on Tierra Rejada. Doors will open at 6:10pm, with a concert start at 6:30pm.
Tickets will first be allotted to 3 per performing student, until Wednesday December 8. At that time we will release any unclaimed seats for additional attendees. We will collect the suggested donation of $10 per adult, $5 per non-performing MS/HS student at the door. Please note that a Mesa Music student will not need to purchase a ticket, and are not counted in the total.
Please follow this link to claim up to 3 seats:

Call times are when students need to be seated on stage ready to warm up and tune prior to the concert. Please plan on dropping your son/daughter off at least 10 minutes before their call time so they can set up and find their seat without the stress of having to rush. Please note that the schedule is tight to avoid even earlier call times, so please be prompt.
Below are the call times for each group:

Though I understand it’s a Tuesday night, we ask that you please stay to the end of the concert. All of our students have been diligently preparing and deserve a full house! Plus, our concert will close with a guest performance by the MHS Marching Band!
Concert etiquette is extremely important to the success of the evening, and its enjoyment by all parties. In order to foster the best atmosphere and learning experience for the students, please plan on staying for the entire concert, as every ensemble has worked hard to play for this wonderful community of student musicians and their families. Students learning to be respectful audience members is also a big part of the concert experience, and will be a part of their grade. We ask that you please find time to speak to your child about proper etiquette during a live performance. This includes, but is not limited to:
- No talking or other communication during the performances.
- No cellphone use.
- Remain seated while a group is performing.
- Adherence to basic venue rules (no eating, no running, no climbing on seats, etc.)
We’re looking forward to sharing this evening of music with you! See you on the 14th!
